THE PLOVDIV CHAMBER HAS THE FOLLOWING         LEGAL STATUS - Juridical person, non-government, non-profit organization, registered at the Plovdiv County Court on 03.04.1990. Based on the principle of voluntary membership. It is a part of the Bulgarian Chambers of Commerce Network. MANAGEMENT BODIES - The General Assembly of members – supreme body. The Management Board – manages the Chamber within General Assemblies, President – operative management, representative and administrative functions.   The Management Board, elected by the General Meeting of members in December, 2011: Dobrina Prodanova - President, Milcho Karaivanov, Lyubomir Arangelov, Angel Hronev, Kiril Tyulev   TYPE OF FINANCING - Self-financing organization. Does not receive subsidies from the state. Relies on our own methods of income generation such as membership fees, services, EU programs, etc. GEOGRAPHICAL SCOPE OF ACTIVITIES - District of Plovdiv and the Southern-Central Region of Bulgaria, operates within the Bulgarian Chambers of Commerce system (26), the World Chamber Network, the ENTERPRISE EUROPE NETWORK (600), provides business-oriented services for approximately 1000 members and 6000 clients per year.
